Since it's 2025 now, I have been reminded by my consciousness that a new season of ArtFight is going to start, and that I should join it. Since then, I've been slowly preparing for ArtFight, picking out the OCs I want people to attack me with, planning layouts for their reference sheets, making height ref sheets, stuff like that. I've also been watching guides on how to navigate the ArtFight website, which reminded me of Toyhou.se, and for some reason I decided I should get a Toyhou.se code while I do all this??? idk I know that getting a Toyhou.se code isn't necessary, but I do want to house my OCs somewhere that won't compromise with my limited storage in Neocities, so yeah.
To make a long story short, I joined this Discord server so I can get a Toyhou.se code but I needed an active social media acount so I created a Tumblr blog, but this week I didn't have to do all that cuz I found a post with a ton of free codes and one of them worked on me so now I have a Toyhou.se account and a Tumblr blog, and I didn't have to wait until late May :)
You know what these websites got in common, though? Coding. I'm so bad at HTML and CSS that whenever I see the option of customizing with those, I get overwhelmed and unmotivated to work with it. I think I can cope up and work with it in the future though :D
I'll be making a socials page in the future, but in the meantime, go check me out on Tumblr my user is @xylathemoth ofc
First things first, I'd like to greet you all an early Happy New Year! I finally fixed the font problem I had for a while (it displayed Times New Roman instead of Comfortaa), and yeah that's it :).
I've been wanting a 3DS ever since I once borrowed one of my former close friend's 3DS XL and thought it was super cool, and now I have one! I purchased it secondhand from Facebook Marketplace for a good price, and it wasn't resetted beforehand so I checked out the photos, voice recordings, Miis, games they played, and personal info the previous owner left. I won't reveal much, but the previous owner was a kid in 2011 Japan called かいかい (kaikai). Idk if that's a boy nickname or a girl nickname, but I added their Mii in Tomodachi Life as tribute. Unfortunately, I don't know their full name, so I named their Mii "John Creator" 💀.
Anyway, wherever かいかい is right now, thank you for giving away your 3DS. You made my childhood just a bit better :).
It's been about a month since I've made any progress to my website, and I understand there shouldn't be any rush to this, but damn bruh I could've done so much more. It's aight tho, school's been taking a lot of my time since then; and now that I've spent the first week of winter break partying with friends and classmates and attending Simbang Gabi, I think I can spare some time on my Neocities website again!
By the way, have you ever had a universe in your head that you've expanded on for so long you have to write things down for once? That's kinda what I'm working on, both my OC universe and my fantroll universe- NOW now now I can explain. Having fantrolls and formulating a whole ass plot around them is soooo fun like I wanna make a MSPFA around my little goobers, but it'd probably be too much work for me. I can barely keep up with my schoolwork, so I don't think I'll be making that MSPFA anytime soon. It's unfortunate though, I'm making sprites for all of my characters 😔 Here's one of them :D
My dad entrusted me with the task of copying the songs from his playlist into another USB drive, which is a pretty easy task to do, of course, but OH MY GOODNESS the songs he has in there are just... AMAZING. I always knew he had nice songs in his playlist, I've heard some of them for the duration of my childhood, but I never got to hear him play NIRVANA? THE CURE??? Anyway, I definitely did not get distracted playing the tracks for an hour, like don't mind me silently screaming the lyrics of I Want To Know What Love Is, it's a good song 😔. Even though the playlist has some pop, RnB, rock, disco, and OPM (Original Pilipino Music), it still slaps AF. Recession pop hits diff ykwim
I don't know why, but I started thinking about my abandoned SpaceHey account. I fw the Y2K revival, so of course I'd love the idea of having my own static website, communicating with like-minded people in SpaceHey, owning old tech like a 2009 Sony Cybershot, stuff like that; But customizing my space was way too complicated for me at the time, so I abandoned it. That's just an overview, it isn't that important. The reason why I wanted to put this here in the first place is because of my past mistakes.
I wanted to be a scene kid for as long as I can remember. Sure, being pink and hyperfeminine is my schtick, but it's pretty boring to have just ONE aesthetic to stick with. When I made my SpaceHey account, I guess I considered myself as a scene kid even though I don't listen to scene music, haven't watched Invader Zim at the time, didn't have the wardrobe or even the hair to look like one, and haven't made a SINGLE kandi bracelet before. Sure, there's not one definition of "what a scene kid should be" that everyone agrees with, but let me tell you, I was FAR from being one. Claiming that I was a scene kid while I donned an obnoxious coquette theme in my SpaceHey profile is probably gonna rub a lot of people the wrong way, especially gatekeepers that think the 2020s scene revival is not giving scene.
Now that I'm barely but surely pursuing to pass off as a scene kid, I'm thinking about being active in SpaceHey, but that'll probably happen during winter break. Anyway, fuck gatekeepers. Scenecore is the new scene!!!
By the way, I did not know that there's an MSPA storefront open. I'd love to buy a Libra shirt, but it's way to expensive for my budget, and my parents would kill me.
I've finally been given the time to work on this blog website more and put it out there for the world to see. I should be using this time to review for next week's exams, but I like reviewing in the night. As of typing this, it's a nice, bustling Saturday afternoon :)
I'm also planning on changing this layout into a diary thing cuz it currently looks boring af, like I am so inspired by this guy's blog that I want mine to look like his (with a personal twist, of course.)
I went out a while ago because of boredom, and I saw that Watsons was selling Peripera products which is CRAZY, because usually I'd see K-beauty products either online or in fancy places like Dubai Mall, but apparently not! It still costs a lot, but it's worth it for cute shades.
Welcome to my blog! It's more like a diary than anything, hence it's appearance.
