For a lot of my life, I've considered Valentine's Day to be the most miserable holiday for me, since I thought I had no one notable to spend it with, until a couple of years ago. Since then, I've decided that I'd just dedicate that day to my friends, since Valentine's Day is not just about romantic relationships. That decision made me pretty happy about being single, but for this year, I did something that I haven't done for about 3 years. I confessed to someone, AND I HATED ITTTT.
As much as I'd love to spill the tea about all that, that person may or may not read this blog, and I don't wanna take any chances when it comes to that, so I'm not gonna go into detail about who they are and what our history is. Also, I don't want to disrespect their privacy. I can only hope they respected mine :(
Anyway, enough about relationship stuff. Let's talk about the Homestuck plushies.

XM: lol i know this part is kinda uneccessary but i dont GAF!! its a part of the theme
XM: anyway on july 12, i wrote something about the homestuck makeship plushies and how i was willing to wait for eridan and/or terezi to be released, right
XM: so guess what happenedddd
XM: the eridan and feferi plush campaigns got live on valentine's day!!
XM: i only found out on the 19th and needless to say i was FREAKING OUT
XM: mostly because my mom might disapprove of it like last time...
XM: but GUESS WHAT
XM: I BOUGHT IT!!!!!!!!!! with her approval ofc
XM: i got her to do it cuz i already saved a lot money which was enough for the plushie (excluding the shipping)
XM: and a close friend of mine got a plushie from makeship without any problems so that's pretty cool
XM: if i wasn't such a fan of eridan, i would've bought the feferi plushie in a heartbeat
XM: but i'd never miss out on having my favorite character in plush form <3
XM: why is he my favorite character, you ask?
XM: well, cuz i kinda see parts of me in him
XM: I KNOW THAT SOUNDS REALLY BAD but i swear im not a genocidal maniac, an extremist, and a misogynistic freak
XM: he's lonely and he screws himself over, like me!
XM: i only do those things because im dumb and weird
XM: he does those things because he's a douche
XM: actually, imma be fr with you
XM: i don't know why i consider him as my favorite character
XM: i've been seeing a pattern with my "favorite characters", and they're, at least at one point, problematic
XM: eridan, leafy, four, shane (from stardew valley)
XM: that list is kinda tame now that i think about it HELPPPP
XM: i think i like him just because of the vibes i rlly dont know anymore
XM: or maybe i look past his problematic nature and see him as a person that can be "fixed"
XM: RAHHH IDFK AND IDGAF ABOUT THIS TOPIC ANYMORE topic dismissed
TL;DR I bought the Eridan plushie and I'm happy now. I can't wait to get him :)
For most of January, I, and many others, spent days in school preparing for important events in and out of campus, which meant that I barely did anything academic which is awesome sauce in my book. One of those events included the First Lego League, which I will refer to as FLL onwards. I was originally going to participate in the FLL so I could use it as an opportunity to further develop my knowledge in robotics, but I didn't get in due to undisclosed reasons. They could say it's because of my packed schedule, but I don't buy it given that a student whose schedule is FILLED TO THE BRIM got in. I can smell the bias from a mile away. To make a long story short, I didn't make the cut. My friend did, which was really nice, but they got the opportunity to spend time with my former classmates and someone notable, which gave me major FOMO. It's all good in the end.
Fortunately for me, they needed someone to help with their website, so I offered help with some of the layouts and code to make it look better. To be completely honest with y'all, I felt like I barely made a difference to their website. I thought I'd be able to do a lot, but given I wasn't well-versed in dynamic website development and forced to attend a last-minute meetup which took several hours, the only worthy thing I contributed was a more dynamic layout for the team section. Of course, I felt disappointed in myself for even thinking that I could help others with web development as a novice, but it's not the end of the world. What matters is that I learned a thing or two about dynamic web design and development, which may serve useful in the future.
I don't think I've mentioned it here, but my family once owned a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W190 from when it first appeared in the market (pardon my wording) back in 2009. It was a great camera for everyday use, and it withstood many years of inactivity from 2011 to 2024. I brought it back to life due to my immense interest towards it, and I'd take pictures and videos with it very frequently, until I lost it in Baguio along with one of my tote bags and around ₱300.
Since then, I've been dying to obtain a camera that's at least as awesome as the Cyber-shot, but it's been unsuccessful as of now. I tried using my 3DS camera as an alternative, but it didn't go well, especially when you consider the fact that the 3DS camera has 0.3 megapixels while my Sony digicam had 12.1. See below for comparison. Open the image in a new tab if needed.
MY SONY CAM WAS SO GOOD BRUHHH IM DYINGGGG. Anyway, for Christmas, my mom bought me a knock-off camera from Amazon, and imma be honest with you... it's mid. IT'S NOT A BAD MID, but it's mid nonetheless. Even if they have more pixels in their 10MP photos, it still looks worse than the 10MP photos taken in my digicam. I had to put a black box over a stranger's face in the Sony digicam photo, meanwhile, I could barely recognize my classmates' faces when I take their photo from the knock-off camera, and THEY WERE NEARER TO THE CAMERA THAN THE STRANGER WAS!!! I'm lowkey pissed off, but at least the camera does its job better than the 3DS, which is kind of a low bar now that I realize it.
I stopped working on a lot of my personal projects due to my schedule being packed with school stuff, and it kinda sucks.
I wanted to do so much, but I had so little time (plus I played a lot of Minecraft during my previous days of free time), so yeah...
As much as I want to work on my Math Things website and other stuff, it'll have to stay unfinished so I could focus on school and my main project, the Phoenix Egg.
I won't be working on anything technical, I'm still in the plot and lore phase.
By the way... I recall seeing an Eridan Ampora plush from a leak I saw on Reddit, and I'm SO EXCITED FOR IT!!!!!!! I predict that he'll be released shortly after Rose and Kanaya's campaign, and I finally have money for it, so HOPEFULLY I'll get him. I'll just have to persuade my mom better this time. I can only hope that it works.
In 2023, I made a Google Docs called “Math 9 Thing”, and it contained almost all the information I knew about the Math 9 topics that were discussed when my batch was in that grade. I didn’t know if it was helpful to my classmates, but it was definitely a great resource to some of my friends from the lower grade. I was planning on making a Math 10 thing, but I never worked on it at the time.
Now that I’m in a higher grade level, I’ve decided to make a Math 11 thing, but instead of it being in a Docs, it’ll be combined with the Math 9 and Math 10 things into one whole website. The website itself is heavily (?) in construction, but I’m planning on hosting it in Nekoweb as soon as I finish the initial Grade 9 portion. Expect it to look kinda like this.
If you can't tell, I'm really proud of this. Sure, I didn't really make new stuff up, but I kinda replicated the "Show Dialogue/Hide Dialogue" box thing from MSPA, which is really cool! Like, I can use that for some of my other projects and make things a bit more interactive that way. :)
Anyway, I feel like I'm kinda STEM-coded. Like, I really enjoy solving math problems and learning about coding and stuff, but I absolutely HATE science. I may feel that way because I kind of have a hard time understanding a lot of concepts and topics, but it's also because I lowkey don't give a shit about a lot of it. Science has a TON of branches, and my school (imo) is expecting us to be pretty knowledgeful of said branches even though we're just average-minded teens (kind of an overstatement HAHA).
Last month, I bought my very own copy of Deltarune on its release day and I played it blind. It's pretty rare for me to have enough money for the games I like and even SPENDING it on them, but I was able to do those things through classified means. I kinda put way too much money in my Steam wallet so I was able to buy Deltarune and A Dance of Fire and Ice... which I regret buying now lol LIKE, UNDERTALE WAS ON DISCOUNT AND I DIDN'T BUY IT??? TF????
Anyway, I really love how Deltarune's going so far! The soundtrack is AMAZING of course (W Toby), the gameplay is definitely a challenge for me, and the SPRITES OMGGGGGG ... i love Lanino and Elnina
Deltarune's been a pretty significant game for me, as well as Undertale. I was really obsessed with Undertale since 2015, but when I saw Jacksepticeye's video of Deltarune's first chapter, it easily dethroned UT for me; and now that I actually own a copy of the game, it's pretty nice to think about how far everything's gone. That's all I got to say about Deltarune right now :)
Now that I've put that aside, let's talk about the DAMN HOMESTUCK PLUSHIES.
For a couple of months, I've been waiting ever so patiently to get my hands on a Karkat plushie. I begged my mom and she said yes, though I didn't get the plushie unfortunately due to her distrust towards online shops, which is completely understandable. I kept my composure infront of her, but as soon as I entered my room, I was punching the air. I got over it on January.
I kinda moved away from the Homestuck fandom since late April because of my busy schedule, so I didn't hear any news for a bit until this week. Like, to think that I'd hear about the Vriska and John plushies on a REDDIT POST of all things is CRAZY. I was shocked, to say the least, when I saw that one post. Were those plushies real? Was the Karkat plushie NOT a one time thing between Homestuck and Makeship? Could there potentially be a Terezi and Eridan plushie?
When I tell you I am excited for the future, I MEAN IT. As of now, the Aradia and Sollux plushie campaigns are gonna start in a few days, and I'll be waiting ever so patiently for my second chance at getting a Homestuck plushie from Makeship. I'm not sure if I'll get the Terezi one or the Eridan one. Terezi cuz Libra, and Eridan cuz... I can do whatever I want to him lol
I'm currently taking my 3rd quarter exams this week, so I haven't been updating Tumblr blog in a long while. I have been doing other stuff though, like playing Balatro, buying FAITH: The Unholy Trinity and attempting the Good Christian Boy achievement (and failing), and turning my 3DS into an mp3 player. As ambitious and easy as it may seem to do such a thing, I went the extra mile, gave details to the individual mp3 files, and added their cover art so it wouldn't look boring as fuck in the player. It'll probably take me a week or so to complete my initial playlist.
The application I'm using to play my songs is 3DShell. I never really considered using my 3DS as an mp3 player until I saw this Reddit post and it got me doing it. The only problem I have with it is that the shuffle button doesn't work with me for some reason. Other than that, it's a pretty solid app :)
I forgot to mention that I'm revamping my main OC story to make it easier for me to tackle plot-wise and revitalize its writing. I've watched many videos and seen many comments that criticize Vivziepop's writing, and I wouldn't want my stories to end up like Hazbin Hotel's and Helluva Boss', which is why I'm doing this. There are stories that have been so poorly written that I feel inspired to do better lol
I'm still prepping for ArtFight, but lately I've been busy with school stuff and this ONE subpage I've been working on for the website.
Originally, I wanted art.html to be categorized by date and not by topic or subject or whatever, but then I changed it so that it is categorized by topic, turning art.html into a whole ass directory that'll contain subpages that may contain more than artworks. I'm currently working on a page for one of my projects, A Revival, and I'm trying to replicate the MSPA website look.
WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT! Anyway yeah, signing out.
Since it's 2025 now, I have been reminded by my consciousness that a new season of ArtFight is going to start, and that I should join it. Since then, I've been slowly preparing for ArtFight, picking out the OCs I want people to attack me with, planning layouts for their reference sheets, making height ref sheets, stuff like that. I've also been watching guides on how to navigate the ArtFight website, which reminded me of Toyhou.se, and for some reason I decided I should get a Toyhou.se code while I do all this??? idk I know that getting a Toyhou.se code isn't necessary, but I do want to house my OCs somewhere that won't compromise with my limited storage in Neocities, so yeah.
To make a long story short, I joined this Discord server so I can get a Toyhou.se code but I needed an active social media acount so I created a Tumblr blog, but this week I didn't have to do all that cuz I found a post with a ton of free codes and one of them worked on me so now I have a Toyhou.se account and a Tumblr blog, and I didn't have to wait until late May :)
You know what these websites got in common, though? Coding. I'm so bad at HTML and CSS that whenever I see the option of customizing with those, I get overwhelmed and unmotivated to work with it. I think I can cope up and work with it in the future though :D
I'll be making a socials page in the future, but in the meantime, go check me out on Tumblr my user is @xylathemoth ofc
First things first, I'd like to greet you all an early Happy New Year! I finally fixed the font problem I had for a while (it displayed Times New Roman instead of Comfortaa), and yeah that's it :).
I've been wanting a 3DS ever since I once borrowed one of my former close friend's 3DS XL and thought it was super cool, and now I have one! I purchased it secondhand from Facebook Marketplace for a good price, and it wasn't resetted beforehand so I checked out the photos, voice recordings, Miis, games they played, and personal info the previous owner left. I won't reveal much, but the previous owner was a kid in 2011 Japan called かいかい (kaikai). Idk if that's a boy nickname or a girl nickname, but I added their Mii in Tomodachi Life as tribute. Unfortunately, I don't know their full name, so I named their Mii "John Creator" 💀.
Anyway, wherever かいかい is right now, thank you for giving away your 3DS. You made my childhood just a bit better :).
It's been about a month since I've made any progress to my website, and I understand there shouldn't be any rush to this, but damn bruh I could've done so much more. It's aight tho, school's been taking a lot of my time since then; and now that I've spent the first week of winter break partying with friends and classmates and attending Simbang Gabi, I think I can spare some time on my Neocities website again!
By the way, have you ever had a universe in your head that you've expanded on for so long you have to write things down for once? That's kinda what I'm working on, both my OC universe and my fantroll universe- NOW now now I can explain. Having fantrolls and formulating a whole ass plot around them is soooo fun like I wanna make a MSPFA around my little goobers, but it'd probably be too much work for me. I can barely keep up with my schoolwork, so I don't think I'll be making that MSPFA anytime soon. It's unfortunate though, I'm making sprites for all of my characters 😔 Here's one of them :D
My dad entrusted me with the task of copying the songs from his playlist into another USB drive, which is a pretty easy task to do, of course, but OH MY GOODNESS the songs he has in there are just... AMAZING. I always knew he had nice songs in his playlist, I've heard some of them for the duration of my childhood, but I never got to hear him play NIRVANA? THE CURE??? Anyway, I definitely did not get distracted playing the tracks for an hour, like don't mind me silently screaming the lyrics of I Want To Know What Love Is, it's a good song 😔. Even though the playlist has some pop, RnB, rock, disco, and OPM (Original Pilipino Music), it still slaps AF. Recession pop hits diff ykwim
I don't know why, but I started thinking about my abandoned SpaceHey account. I fw the Y2K revival, so of course I'd love the idea of having my own static website, communicating with like-minded people in SpaceHey, owning old tech like a 2009 Sony Cybershot, stuff like that; But customizing my space was way too complicated for me at the time, so I abandoned it. That's just an overview, it isn't that important. The reason why I wanted to put this here in the first place is because of my past mistakes.
I wanted to be a scene kid for as long as I can remember. Sure, being pink and hyperfeminine is my schtick, but it's pretty boring to have just ONE aesthetic to stick with. When I made my SpaceHey account, I guess I considered myself as a scene kid even though I don't listen to scene music, haven't watched Invader Zim at the time, didn't have the wardrobe or even the hair to look like one, and haven't made a SINGLE kandi bracelet before. Sure, there's not one definition of "what a scene kid should be" that everyone agrees with, but let me tell you, I was FAR from being one. Claiming that I was a scene kid while I donned an obnoxious coquette theme in my SpaceHey profile is probably gonna rub a lot of people the wrong way, especially gatekeepers that think the 2020s scene revival is not giving scene.
Now that I'm barely but surely pursuing to pass off as a scene kid, I'm thinking about being active in SpaceHey, but that'll probably happen during winter break. Anyway, fuck gatekeepers. Scenecore is the new scene!!!
By the way, I did not know that there's an MSPA storefront open. I'd love to buy a Libra shirt, but it's way to expensive for my budget, and my parents would kill me.
I've finally been given the time to work on this blog website more and put it out there for the world to see. I should be using this time to review for next week's exams, but I like reviewing in the night. As of typing this, it's a nice, bustling Saturday afternoon :)
I'm also planning on changing this layout into a diary thing cuz it currently looks boring af, like I am so inspired by this guy's blog that I want mine to look like his (with a personal twist, of course.)
I went out a while ago because of boredom, and I saw that Watsons was selling Peripera products which is CRAZY, because usually I'd see K-beauty products either online or in fancy places like Dubai Mall, but apparently not! It still costs a lot, but it's worth it for cute shades.
Welcome to my blog! It's more like a diary than anything, hence it's appearance. Hover the cursor over the entry titles for short summaries!
